Rupalia RW Inc. Obtains Certifications as a Minority Business Enterprise and Woman-Owned Small Business –
McLean, VA – 11/8/2024 — Rupalia RW Inc., a boutique ethics and compliance consultancy, is proud to announce that it has achieved two significant certifications that recognize its commitment to diversity and excellence. The company has been officially certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council and as a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
The Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMSDC), founded in 1972, is one of 23 regional affiliates of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and is the nation’s only recognized certifying authority for minority-owned businesses. Through its certification programs, the CRMSDC advances opportunities for minority-owned businesses to collaborate and engage in government and corporate contracting. The council also operates the Virginia Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center, a U.S. Department of Commerce initiative.
The WOSB Federal Contract Program, operated by the SBA, was established to level the playing field for women-owned businesses by allowing them to compete for specific federal contracts in industries where women are underrepresented. As a certified WOSB, Rupalia RW Inc. is now eligible to bid on federal contracts set aside for WOSB and economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses (EDWOSB), increasing its ability to make an impact through federal partnerships.
